CJ's dad raises pigs. Apparently some pigs were recently born and within about a year his dad is giving him a pig...or should I say pig meat. Ewwwww, that just sounds wrong. Maybe I should have said BACON!
I never grew up farming...I;m a city girl. However, three of my friends have backyard chicken coops -- so why am I still buying eggs at the store???
Today's agenda sucks, it's a busy day and I hate when I have to run all over hell and half of Georgia! Olivia and Wyatt have dentist appointments. I'm trying to get work wrapped up before I have to take them. Plus, I still wanna get online and find some cute baby gifts for a baby shower I am going to. I prefer to find monogrammed baby gifts--just for that extra touch!
In the meantime, I wanted to post an update on my lip piercing fiasco. In June I got my lip pierced. The first time I got it done was years ago, at a tattoo shop. The dude who pierced me was a tattoo artist and told me, after the fact, he did not have much experience with piercing. He screwed it up and had to re-pierce me that same day. UGH! That piercing never healed properly and within a few weeks I had to take it out of my lip. I had hoped my re-attempt this past June would have a better outcome. The procedure went off without a hitch and all seemed well but no such luck--the piercer screwed it up and it wasn't healing properly.
I had my lip re-pierced on July 8th and it is healing up nicely!!! I m so glad I got it re-done and re-done properly!

I finally got my Jack Skellington tattoo! It took me a while to figure out where I wanted to go (as in which tattoo shop) because my favorite shop is in Ohio.
So, I went back to the place I got my very first tattoo...wow, the shop is completely remodeled! Everything looks so nice; from the fresh painted walls to the new laminate floor--it looks like a completely new place.
Anyway, I found the perfect artist (he's done Jack Skellington before) and handed him this:
He did the sketch, as you can see above, and in no time we he was tattooing me and this is the result:

Olivia is very smart, in fact, she is being recommended for honor classes. Sometimes, however, she is a smarty 'pants' and thinks she knows it all.
Even when it comes to spelling and pronouncing some words, she doesn't always believe me. I literally have to look words up using the merriam webster speaking dictionary and even then she sometimes will still say she is right and everyone else is wrong! UGH! Not looking forward to the teen years!

Saturday July 16th was my dad's birthday, today is my grandmother's birthday, tomorrow is my uncle's birthday! In August, my mom's birthday is on the 9th and so that is what I am doing now, looking for something for mom.
I talked about this Shari's Berries site before--it's awesome! I found a ton of yummy gifts for Mom's birthday--so many, I had trouble deciding but...I think this is it!

I know. I just got back from vacation so how could I possibly need a vacation. Well, let me ask this...is a vacation TRULY a vacation when you are there with the very people you need time away from? LOL!!!
So, my BFF Cherie and I have been discussing a weekend getaway. Maybe Atlantic City, NJ. Unfortunately I don't ave the funds for that kind of a trip right now but I want to go so badly that I think one of those quick loans could get me there!
Oh well, maybe instead of worrying about a weekend getaway, I should just save my pennies for our next Walt Disney World trip this coming October. We are staying at Bay Lake Tower from October 1st to the 6th, then moving to the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa:
This resort is not a Disney Vacation Club resort (although I have heard rumors that it just may be in the future!) We have never stayed at this resort but I have always admired it from afar and we have eaten in it a few times. It is so beautiful there along the lagoon.
We will be there from October 6th to October 10th, then coming home. I really do love visiting Walt Disney World twice in one year. It keeps my life interesting because I always have something to plan and something to look forward to.
Speaking of twice in one year, if we want to go back before July 5th of 2012 I can book that now! WOW!

I have been trying to settle back into a routine since returning from vacation. For some strange reason it has been extremely difficult for me this time, not sure why? So, I think the only way to get me out of this funk is a night out with my BFF, Cherie!
Last time we had a girls night, we had some drinks, did some shots and even tried a few cigars from a cigars samplers box available at the bar.Cherie and I always have fun together, no matter where we go. I think a night out on the town though is something I need!

Our 'Home' resort in Walt Disney World is Bay Lake Tower. This is the newest DVC resort and the most modern looking. This is the place I call ~home~ when we visit Disney in Florida:
Don't let the 'modern' theme fool you though; Bay Cove Pool is lots of fun! A huge water slide and a smaller kids' slide; plus an interactive children's water feature!
For a bit of peace and quiet, there is also a whirpool spa at Bay Cove Pool. I love spending time right here!
I have never seen any spa covers on any whirlpool spas at any of the resorts. I suppose that is because they are used around the clock.
