While I have been very busy with work and getting ready for vacation, I have still been trying to keep up with the news. I mean, what the heck, a few weeks ago my area was in the news! Hurricane Irene came barreling through here and to my dismay, many areas close by me were completely devastated.

Then, I read about those horrible fires in Texas. Oh wow, I cannot even begin to imagine what those people are going through, STILL! I have a friend who lives near Austin, Texas and he said it is really bad--just the smoke in the area. He had to find a company to help get rid of the smoke damage in his office. The smell was really horrible in the rugs and carpets.
