I just went upstairs to put wash away and set vacation clothes aside and what did I notice? The light in our bedroom was acting up and then *poof* - darkness. I am sure it's just a matter of replacing light bulbs but I am hoping this will push CJ to look at some new Progress lighting because I REALLY want to redecorate!

Well, enough babbling! I need to get some sleep! I may blog here from Disney but all details will be posted on Disney Vacation Trip Reports and here:

I already have an idea of what to get my mom for Mother's Day but no idea what to get my dad for Father's Day! I am on the search, early albeit, for Father's day gift ideas; in fact, if anyone has any good idea, submit it to: Cool Gifts For Him <--- my blog.

I am so tired, overtired I think. Tomorrow is last minute packing, haircut for Livi and manicure for me. Then sfeaking of dad, my dad is coming over for a visit. It will have to be an early night though, we leave for Disney early on Thursday!

I just booked our October Disney trip! We're staying at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa! I am looking forward to staying at different DVC resorts!


I also booked dinning reservations for October! Man, all this dining out is going to catch up with me - I better carry some nuphedragen with me at all times, LOL  We leave on Thursday for Disney so I'll be back to blogging in May!

By the way, I created another blog 'Disney Vacation Trip Reports' to document this trip.
In addition to the new blog, I also created a Facebook Fan Page and a Twitter account as well!





So now, when we're on vacation I will be posting real time updates to the new blog which will in turn post to the Facebook Fan Page and Twitter! Once we're back, I'll have wonderful documentation of our trip and will be able to write up a nice trip report without missing anything!

Yesterday I was doing some research for an article on herbal weight loss pills while listening to @cosmicreid's Starlight Cafe on www.magicalmouseradio.com and it gave me goosebumps! I am so excited for our upcoming vacation! Especially since I'm sitting here FREEZING right now!




I think I have everything done in regards to packing, just one more load of laundry to do! CJ ran out today and did some last minute errands and then tomorrow I'll finish packing. Thursday can't come soon enough!

I am DRAINED! Went shopping today to get those last minute essentials and toiletries needed for vacation. I took the boys with me because CJ was working on his Mustang, he was replacing the throttle body.

Taking those two with me was OHMYGAWD! Let's just say I hope acnepril can remove the million zits I'm sure resulted because of the stress! If today was any indication of how those two are going to act while in Disney, I'm staying home!

Is a stress free vacation even possible? I am hoping this year it will be. It's weird how things happen. In March I lost a job I absolutely loved doing and my boss and co-workers basically became unknown to me.

In April things escalated but I think that was the pivotal moment in the event. If all of that was supposed to happen, and I believe everything happens for a reason, then it couldn't have come at a better time; right before vacation. To say I NEED a vacation is an understatement!

Since losing that job I have gone back to what I know best: article writing, linkbuilding, blogging and some social media. I manage so many blogs and often times I am contacted through the contact form of a blog by someone who wants me to write an article or do a few blog posts. That usually works out just fine but I decided to simplify it a bit by creating one central website; L&CFreelancing

CJ does his own thing - mostly for Demand Studios, but in the event someone or some business needs articles or blog posts related to guitar building, cars or technology, he is the go to guy. With that in mind, we are both independent contractors or freelancers who do business under our own names. L&CFreelancing.com is just the centralized website where he and I can promote ourselves, together - it's not a business or company.

I thought it was a cool idea - so far no one has contacted us for work, LOL - but hey, one day maybe, right? In the meantime, writing for Demand Studios and Break Studios keeps us both busy enough. I try to write between 8 -10 $15 articles a day at Demand Studios; that earns me between  $120 - $150 a day so not too bad. That is one way to pay for my Disney obsession!

Hey hey Internet, in 12 days I will be in Walt Disney World! I have already been making my 'vacation packing list'  and checking the Orlando weather periodically. Guess I can't take my Joe's jeans with me because it's going to be in the mid-80's! I am SO ready to be in Florida! It's been rainy and cold here. Today, no rain but it's only expected to reach 58º F! What the hell?!


I LOVE the anticipation of family trips. The next week and a half is going to busy busy busy! Bay Lake Tower, here we come!

Last year CJ took a ride down that slide it was so funny! I wouldn't try it though, not until after I found some good discount diet pills that work! Hahaha! The kids were too afraid to go down that slide last year and this year we're not staying at the Polynesian. Maybe we will still hop over to the pool anyway!

So much has changed in the Internet world over the last, I'd say, 5 years. Just look at social media - you can connect with old friends, keep up with family and even find a job! A friend of mine did a sales job search using Twitter and LinkedIn; within a week she had her 'dream' sales job!

Are you using any social media sites? If so, which ones? Have yo used any that just didn't float your boat? Why?

I grew up in the '80s - I was a tween/teen back then. Remember the cell phones? They were so hot! THEN!


cellular phones have come such a long way over the last 20 years it's absolutely amazing. I mean, technology as a whole is moving so fast I am starting to feel as though I can't keep up. I don't want to be one of those parents who have no clue about the technology their kids are using but I fear that is the direction I'm headed. I MUST get caught up!

Dante finds time to make the most of anything he finds. Yesterday he was goofing around with a pair of CJ's safety glasses; today it's binoculars.


It's so nice out today I decided to bring the laptop out and get some work done out here. I absolutely LOVE this weather! I'm happy to have work too; with our Disney vacation coming up I need some cash, heheee.
