How cheap do you go for a deal and is it really a deal? For instance, a friend of mine recently got an outdoor spa for next to nothing but it didn't come with a spa cover so now she needs to find one.
I think if you're looking for a deal, you should get a deal in it's entirety, not bits and pieces. What do you think? Maybe I'm being too picky?

Boxers are known for tummy troubles – and being trouble, period. One time, Angus decided to gnaw on a brand new pair of polarized sunglasses I had sitting on the dinning room table! Needless to say, that won him a trip to the vet.
He’s been there so many times over the last 6 months I am guessing he’s afraid of people in lab coats at this point. Damn Wormy!

This has been one hellaciously beautiful weekend! I am sad to see that it's coming to an end. It started on Friday and each day of the weekend just got nicer and warmer; what a perfect Spring Equinox!
It's almost 4:30 pm and I just finished up an article about diet pills; still sitting outside enjoying the day. Unfortunately, the clouds are rolling in and rain is on it's way. Monday starts another crazy week of school and work. I hope the rain rolls out by next weekend - the 27th is Olivia's birthday!

Today is the first day of Spring but it's felt like Spring around here for the last week! CJ has been getting out with the boys trying to teach them how to throw and catch a football, it has been quite amusing.
There's Dante, wearing his boots - he just can't let go of Winter I suppose. He loves those boots! Spring kinda crept up on all of us especially me. Guess I should have been taking that fat burner so I'd be about 15 pounds lighter by now! Instead I am a whole 5 pounds lighter! LOL - oh well.
Psst...1 month and 10 days until DISNEY!

She is suing financial company E-Trade for $100 million for using her name in its latest commercial about a boyfriend-stealing "milkaholic" baby. Now, I am HUGE fan of the E-Trade baby commercials LOVE THEM and when I saw this commercial not once did I ever even think of Lindsay Lohan, did you?
Lohan filed the lawsuit Monday, which claims the ad violated the star's rights under New York state civil-rights law.
Everybody? Really? Who? When? I am a social media fanatic and I haven't seen this talked abut on Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, etc...not YET - it will be now I'm sure.
The spokesperson for Grey Group, which produced the "milkaholic" commercial, said that they "just used a popular baby name that happened to be the name of someone on the account team."
In the lawsuit, Lohan is seeking an injunction to force the spot off the air.
I suppose she needed to do something to get media attention.

"Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit," Lohan's lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, said in a statement to the New York Post. "They're using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn't they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody's talking about it and saying it's Lindsay Lohan."

Is it weird that CJ and I are in the same room and both on computers? He's trying to find the best life insurance quote and I'm looking at cute baby gifts for a baby shower I was invited to.
It just amazes me how things are so internet oriented. We have 5 computers in this house! FIVE! I think I need to 'unplug' for a bit and enjoy the day. It's supposed to be close to 50 degrees today! Yay!

I LOVE our basement since it's been remodeled! Even though the kids trash it, at the end of the day the toys are picked p and things are put back where they belong and it once again looks like this:
The kids have an old computer down there to play JumpStart and some games on PBS.com but that computer is such a piece of crap, I'm thinking of replacing it. I've looked at the Sony VAIO but I'm not sure that a laptop is such a good idea.

I was just sitting here reading the latest diet pill review and pondering the fact that if these things really worked, wouldn't we all be skinny? I often ponder weird stuff like that.
Vanity, that's all it is. I mean, sure, I'd love to weight less but I eat right, I exercise and I feel good - that has got to count for something, right? What about the skinny chick who is anemic, feels like crap most of the time, is always tired and is losing hair? Oh, she LOOKS good though, I forgot...

I think my acne has cleared up during 'that time of the month' since I decided to use the internet to my advantage and look for helpful reviews online for different acne products, like acnezine. In fact, it lead me to natural remedies and well, changing my diet made a world of difference. Ha!
So now onto the weight loss. 4 pounds down, doesn't seem like a lot but to me it makes a world of difference!

Wow, I suck at coming up with post titles sometimes, don't I? Hahahaaa! Well, I mentioned I was helping a California chick plan her wedding and how all she did was Google the phrase custom engagement rings orange county when she was searching for the perfect engagement ring. So, I did a few wedding jewelry searches myself to see what I come up with in this area.
One question, are people in PA that much fatter than those in CA? All the sidebar ads had to do with weight loss! I saw one for Weight Watchers, one for quick trim weight loss and one for jenny Craig. I didn't see those when I did a Cali specific search though...

Even though I work from home, I still work in an 'office' so to speak, therefor things are set up a bit differently, right down to the type of lighting used. Now, working in this office area every day, I now know how important the right commercial lighting is. Often times, if the wrong lighting is in use, it hurts my eyes and gives me an awful headache.
The other day I was in the process of 'Googling' wedding rings orange county for a new client and I had to take a break from peering at the computer screen because my eyes and head hurt so bad.
Can you really go blind from straining your eyes too much? Hahahaaa

I do like watching wrestling on occasion. I know it's 'fake' and I realize things happen because they were written in the story line. The whole 'Road to Wrestlemania' is like one big soap opera for dudes though.
The whole steroid use thing is a big deal too - I mean, doctor prescribed or not, it can't be all that healthy, not on a regular basis - even the steroids that are prescribed for pain/inflammation control aren't good. If these guys want to 'beef up' why not try a testosterone booster instead? Although, I wouldn't really recommend the girls use it, hahahaaaa

In just 1 month and 27 days we will once again be in the happiest place on Earth - Disney! I love this shot of Spaceship Earth:
We drove down in 2008 and 2009 without incident but now that we are Disney Vacation Club members we KNOW we will be making this trip (just about) every year, so I think it's time we think about flying. CJ and I really don't want to fly but 2 days of driving down and 2 days of driving home vs 2 hours seems like a no brainer.
The first year we drove down we rented a van. Last year we took our Honda Pilot. I felt more comfortable in our own vehicle but the thought that even if one little thing goes wrong, we could be stranded, even with an extended service plan sure the vehicle would be fixed but what would we do while we wait?
Renting a van is so much better. It's about the same amount of money as buying round trip plane tickets for the 5 of us and if something happens to the rental, all we need to do is wait for another rental. Much less stress!

I've been doing my best to exercise every day. I've been using the treadmill for about 40 minutes a day. That's about 2 miles and 500 - 600 calories burned. Exercising makes me hungry - hungrier than normal. My stupid thought process was, "Oh, I burned 600 calories on the treadmill so I can eat those 2 pieces of pizza."
What did that get me? A great way to realize how to MAINTAIN my weight but I didn't lose anything. I think maybe it's time to trade in the treadmill for a nordictrack audiostrider 990 pro or something.
I just want to be able to go to the pool on vacation and not feel so self conscious. Check out the pool at Bay Lake Tower in Disney:
