I'm becoming a bit frustrated at trying to find an acne medication that will work for me and not dry out my skin.
I look back at pictures from when I was younger and I never had skin complexion issues before! Why now? I thought things were supposed to get better with age, I guess not, huh? My 7 year old has little pimples on her face--wonder if that is hereditary?

It is my personal belief that it's an allergy of some sort when that happens. And sometime, allergies develop over time (or combined w/other bodily changes). I cannot have peas since I was pregnant...stuff like that.
I never had serious issues w/my skin, but a tried n true was simple Noxema cleansing as soon as I got up and just before I went to bed. My Mom taught me this when I was 11yo. If there WAS the random zit (rare), I used some Camphor spirit on it (a dab) and Clearasil clear cream after (another dab).
Once I cut out dark soda from my diet (16yo), I never got another zit again.

Now, as an adult, I sometimes would get the random white-head or something like that. I'd use the same routine. Never fails. My Shrews swear by the method. (I still won't drink dark soda and neither will they.)
As far as REALLY little ones...what TYPE of zits are we talking? Both Farren and Bop (and now Lyss) would get little white spots on their noses when they were still tiny/in diapers, but it's a surface thing. It was more about the pores which tells me again--dietary. I'm working on this, but ultimately, both Bop and Farren had psoriasis and when I saw it on the baby, that is what popped in my head. My Mom swears I had the same thing too...BOT! She's also the same lady who is 71 and thinks my older brother and I were toddlers together when we are actually 6yrs apart, so...(HAHAHA!)
I hope ANY of this helps!! xoxo ~
