Wow, the media is really ripping apart Sarah Palin! Now the National Enquirer is reporting that she had an affair with her husband's business partner and of course, they are gaining credibility since being correct when they reported on John Edwards' affair.Hmmm, well, I really didn't give a shit about Edwards' affair, I really didn't give a shit that Bill Clinton got a blowjob from Monica...and yes, he was going through the possible impeachment, not for the blowjob, but for LYING about it. So, if Sarah really did have an affair that will certainly not hold any water with me - because it's not an issue for me.
Look, first it was 'reported' that her 4 month old baby Trig, was really her daughter, Bristol's. Then in the next wave of reporting there's this huge issue that Bristol is 17, 4 months pregnant and unmarried - wow, had a baby 4 months ago and is already 4 months pregnant? Hello, media, get your heads out of your asses!
Let's not forget the huge deal that is being made regarding Palin's husband Todd's DUI at 22 (20+ years ago)
However, no real discussion has ever occurred regarding Barack's (self-disclosed) cocaine use at a similar age. In his books, Obama suggests that he used marijuana and "blow" to ease the pain of his ongoing struggle to define his racial identity, and that association makes it all but unthinkable that even the most ruthless political operative would attempt to make an issue of long-ago substance abuse. Yet, there is this issue with Palin's husband's DUI?
Oh wait, I know why. What Obama did wasn't technically illegal or at least he couldn't be brought up on charges from past drug use. Not only that but where the press is concerned is the fact that Obama came out and confessed it before the press could dig it up and try to make something of it. They love to shine their little asses like that and do the *Look what I found out* dance.
What's important to me? Well, a candidate who has long term ties to known domestic terrorists and radicals and who has a spouse that was so anti - American until her husband started running for president is more of a concern to me than the issues that Sarah may have had an affair and *gasp* her 17 year old daughter is pregnant and unmarried.
You?
Oh, and here's a great clip I found. Megyn Kelly trying to get to the bottom of the bullshit US Magazine reported:

I've been debating on making a post about all this nonsense. I admit that I know very little about politics. I wish it interested my more. No longer can I say I'm only X years old, I'll think about it more when Im holder.
I'm tried to keep up with the main points of this election. And I 100% agree with you about Palin. Who cares? Its ridiculous all the "dirt" being dug up. I was unable to watch her speech last night but the segments that Ive seen today, I'm really starting to like her.
And I am also glad you brought up how different everyone has been treating Obama compared to others who have did things along the same lines. Something about him doesnt sit well with me.
I have been so disgusted with the Bush Administration that I vowed to really pay attention this ear. I've been reading and watching since the beginning. I sat through the entire DNC and I have been sitting through the RNC.
I have always sided more with the Democratic party but not this year, no way, no how, NOBAMA!
lol
I agree with your argument. However, be careful not to associate the press with Obama. He's not to blame for what the press says. Also, your last paragraph's characterization is a very skewed view. It goes out of its way to lack objectivity, and yet the whole point of your post was to respond to or even to correct a skewed perspective. In other words, the overt lack of objectivity doesn't mix well with the post's desire to overcome the press's lack of objectivity. It gives off that dizziness of "correcting spin with spin."
Keep up the good work!
LOL..thanks for your input.
My last paragraph does have very skewed view, for it is my opinion!
I am with you. What I love about Sarah Palin is the fact that she, and her family, are not perfect. She comes across so real. I love her directness and her sense of humor. She doesn't sugar coat things - including her family.
I am not an Obama fan, but I wasn't really on the Mcain bandwagon either. Until he chose Sarah as his running mate.
So, the media and the democrats can take all the pot shots at her they want. All that will do to my opinion is guarantee a Republican vote!
Hi Pam!
I was not an Obama fan either - nor McCain, but I am sure a McCain an now!
I havent like the Repupublican party since they made fun of Chelsea. How would they like it if someone made fun of their 16 year kid? And i say enough bringing teen pregnancy in the spotlight FIrst Jamie Lynn Spears and now here we go again, all this country needs. If Clinton's affairs are wrong, so is teen pregnacny. It sends a terrible message to young girls.
continued-What I mean is enough of the poor calling the kettle black! Mccain only picked Pailin to sway female voters int he first place.
Hey roddma,
While I definitely understand what you mean, I just feel that those things are so unimportant, as opposed to Obama and his ties with domestic terrorists and radicals, etc.
Both parties are hypocritical and both parties are corrupt in some way - they both have their own agenda. While McCain may have picked Palin to sway women voters, I also think it was to prove that he does not want to be the 'same old, same old' which I think was a brilliant move.
So many people are concerned Palin does not have the experience to be VP and definitely not enough to take over as President - if she'd have to, yet many are just fine and dandy with Obama, who has just as little experience - if not less!
She is a bimbo!
